Start of Day 1
Hollie takes pictures of the first drawers ... and I take pictures of her

Starting at the door working clockwise
No! Do we really have to start with the junk drawers ::shudder:: can't we start with something easier?

Hollie at work
this is near the end of our time, I forgot to take pix in the middle.

Hollie's son at work
I have to say I'm impressed with this young man. He just started right in working with her, and when things were cleared out and she was doing the organizing thing (and I was lamely trying to help) he quietly washed and scrubbed and shined and wiped. He scrubbed the stove and burners and even the windows! All without being asked.

One 'foreign thought' for me was the whole idea of having things in flux. We moved the cereal and cookbooks but the things may not all stay where they are. Hollie does the organizing as a work in progress, not waiting to figure out the "best plan" for things, but getting a "this will work for now" ... and I'm confident that she'll revisit the 'works for now' spaces, unlike my usual 'well if it works well enough I'll never change it' approach ...
