I took pictures today that I was going to show you. But it's 11:10 p.m. and I'm mentally gearing up for another night of barf-o-rama. So I might not want to stay up cropping and posting pictures? You'll wait patiently...

Kim, you deserve a medal.

I am NOT the one to call when this would happen. If I see it...I do it. Not pretty.

I hope you wake up and everyone is 150% better...and you and GL are fine and never get sick.

We'll call it your Christmas miracle!

:)

Sorry, I must have given you the germs by visiting your blog :o/

Two weeks ago today Chickie was sick at night. Despite the fact that she frequently has (or claims to have?) tummy trouble, and she keeps a big bucket in bed with her every night, she forgot about it at 3 am and got every single sheet and blanket in her bed.

Last week all the boys got it, one by one, ending with BigE this past Sunday night, barfing every 20-30 minutes all night. By the time he got it I was just so thankful for his ability to use a bucket.

So when Chickie complained of a tummyache yesterday morning, like she often does, I patted her head, handed her a Rolaids and sent her off to school, where at 8:15, six minutes into the school day, she barfed all over her desk in front of her pregnant and nauseated teacher, who probably wonders how I could be so heartless to send my tummyached daughter in to school when she was so obviously sick! Sigh.

So she barfed all day instead of all night, and I was grateful. She ate supper and held it down. And last night at 4 AM, she called out to me, and I came down the hall, and she said she needed a barf bucket....urp! all over the sheets and blankets, with the barf bucket right next to her still. Turning on the wash machine woke Mac and Bubbie up.

I am glad that my kids had it one by one, and sorry that you had everyone all at once, or nearly so... I think having EVERYONE barfing in unison would have made me go postal.

I hope you get a nap today, and/or get to sleep in, and I hope everyone getting it at once means you all get over it faster. :o)

FWIW while Dan and I got nauseated, we still haven't gotten really sick... I hope that gives you hope!

I have soooooo been in your shoes. That is the main reason I just love hard wood floors! As far as I am concerned, in a house with kids, it should all be hardwood, linoleum or some other wipe-able flooring. Now, if they could just come up with some sort of barf-proof bedding...

You have my undying sympathy and well-wishes during this trial!

I love Don Aslett's idea of a hose-downable house. Just cover it all with a nice, thick layer of cement and put a drain in the center of the floor. May not be comfy, but mom will be so happy, who cares!? LOL!
