T'Mahk Too - Comments on *yawn* it's late!

I'm staying up late, hanging out with my knitting, while I'm waiting for my friend Michelle deMoose to post "after" pictures of her hair cut. Michelle has gorgeous long hair and has decided to get long layers cut into it,...

Wow - Congratulations! I've been kinda bummed lately because I lost 20 pounds the first half of the year, and then I felt like I pretty much gained most of it back the second half. I guess sitting in a car or a seminar for most of the fall season will do that to you, but still... Your goal-achievingness is a motivator for me!

Woo hoo on the walking! I'd been wondering how close you were getting.

I, too, was thinking about changing my goal somewhat. I got Leslie's Pilates and Yoga DVD's, plus I bought the Weightlifting for Dummies book at the thrift store before Christmas. If I'm concentrating on miles walked, I won't be so enthusiastic about other types of exercise, I think.

Kim,

I think you should have another mileage goal. X minutes a week is too easy to ignore. 600 miles a year is a goal that it is easy to measure and to see how you are doing.

I guess if you wanted to do a free weight goal, you could have a goal of getting to 12 or 15 pounds using Joyce's videos.

But I think the mileage goal is a better one for you.

Congrats on sticking to your plan thought thick and thin!

Wow! Congratulations. Maybe I should set some type of goal for myself. I can't seem to get rid of the rest of my toddler weight. It's been too long to still call it baby weight.

Get a pedometer and wear it. Then you can accumulate miles at kickboxing, or whatever!

Congrats on making your goal!
