January is over by 21 minutes, now. ... I have walked 78 miles -- 130% of my goal of 60 miles in February! It was a good month for walking, that's for sure. I'm not so sure I can keep...

We start Lent on the 19th which (as you know) means no meat or dairy for us. I would hope that would help me to eat healthier. My biggest thing is that over the last few weeks I have progressively been drinking more and more coffee to the point that I am NOT drinking anything else--maybe one glass of water but not every day. So I definately need to cut back the coffee and drink more water.

And my walking?? I did 10 miles in January (how pathetic is that?? LOL) But I promise to do better in Feb. Need to get my personal trainer on the ball! LOL

I think I can do 10 miles in February. *If* the knees continue in working order. Can't promise about eating healthy. My birthday is at the beginning of the month and one of my kids' at the end. But I can do better.

So goals: 10 miles in February and better diet.

*cheers for Becky and Peggy!* Hey, 10 miles is better than none at all!

I'm aiming for 50 miles again, since it's a slightly shorter month. I have big plans for March, though. :-D

Oh, and I'm doing monthly weight/measurement checks. I'm down 3 pounds and 2 inches since the beginning of the year. Hopefully the downward trend will continue this month.

I walk 1 1/2 miles in January. ;-) I'm sure I "walked" more; that's just the part I measured. I'm going to walk this month too. I'm just not sure how much.
