I picked up some paint chips the other day in a very pale grey - their names were 'winter snowstorm' and 'grey blizzard'. And I thought to myself, why? why would anyone pick those names for the colors, because there is no way on earth I want to paint my house to look like snow, or dirty snow!

And I wondered if there were any openings for paint-chip-namers. Because I would love that job. Do you have to be a poetry major to qualify for the job?

I like the dark grey. I think I'd like it better one or two shades lighter. It's pretty the way it is too though. And great photoshopping!

Yeah, I like Distance too. The dark gray. I'd like it a tidge darker, but not as dark as the one below it.

My in-laws have a DARK brown house and lots of trees in front. We call it the "Stealth House". To find it, you aim for the spot in the street where it looks like there is no house.

Electric Lime is awesome. I painted a set of trash picked chairs and table a similar color. They're on the front porch now and they make me so happy. It's that color!

I vote for Denim and second for Distance. I like the contrast between the darker color and the light trim.

I like Denim. I like how the gray makes the house stand out from all the brown and green, but it's less, um, organic? BTW, I have electric lime paint in my schoolroom (where the computer is.) It's pretty intense. When we first moved in I was SURE I'd have to paint over it. I love green and all (it's my favorite!) but this is INTENSE in an over-caffeinated way. But, I just covered most of it with maps, bookcases and completed work and now it's INTENSE in a messy way.

I love the photoshopped grey! If it was a tinge bluer it'd be the color of my house... ; ) However, I much prefer the grey tints to the blue ones.

The Distance is nice. My preference is for Bracing Blue. The added benefit is during a clear blue sky, your house will be difficult to find. You will be living off the grid on nice, sunny days and Skynet will not know where to find you.

I like the slate grey. I like the green, too, but it would clash with the trees and shrubs. What about slate grey, with accents of a brighter color on the shutters?
